Summer day

With living in the North East, I am extremely lucky that there are so many things to do in and around the area. One of my favourite places to visit is Newcastle. I love the shops there, as there are many that you can't usually find e.g Urban Outfitters, Jack Wills, Hollister etc. Also the food in Newcastle is amazing, there is so much choice and really you know you can never go hungry there. Here are some photos from a day out I had there when we were lucky to have some nice weather.

Greys Monument
Eldon Square

With the weather treating us and it being around lunch time, we decided to make the most of the sun and eat alfresco. I had my pick nick blanket in my rucksack and couldn't wait to grab some lunch.

Little bag of goodies
I love Pret, ever since trying my first coffee there way back in London in January, I really have loved it ever since. Pret pride themsleves on producing organic food that is of the highest quality.

Total cost, £8.60
I got a Ham, cheese and rocket baguette with creaser dressing. A packet of mature cheddar and red onion oven baked crisps, a prosciutto pastry a lemon and ginger juice. (All of which tasted too good to decribe) The raspberries were just from a fruit salesman just in the centre of Newcastle.

Lemon and Ginger Juice Drink

This juice was so tasty, Pret give you a description of all the ingredients in the juice and where they came from. Stating there was nothing but natural ingredients in this juice, it really was delicious!

Then it was time for a spot of shopping. As Newcastle has so many shops on offer, you struggle not to take a dive into what they have to offer.
Nike Section
Urban Outfitters

The Urban Outfitters in Newcastle is exactly where you want to go if you are looking for something on trend and different. The store is huge and it based on 5 levels of displays. From vintage, to books, to both male and female clothes. There really is an amazing selection. I really loved this vest from there, match it with some rolled up skinny jeans and some sneakers for a relaxed urban look.

Jack Wills
Eldon Square
I then ducked into in my opinion the best Jack Wills I've been to. The members of staff are so friendly and the selection of clothes is amazing. I particularly like the way they set out their displays, really shows how their selling a quality premium product.

End Clothing
Newcastle
I then decided to take a look off the beaten track and verge away from the central shops. Newcastle is one of those places where you keep on discovering new places. We found this amazing urban shop called 'End Clothing' which stocked some amazing t-shirts and trainers. Was very tempted by a pair however I managed to leave without doing damage to my bank balance.

Starbucks Grande Iced Caramel Macchiato
Now it wouldn't be a successful day out without a trip to a coffee shop. On a hot day, I crave iced coffee and that day was no exception. Starbucks do amazing iced coffee, the iced caramel macchiato is my favourite by far as the double shot with the vanilla syrup and caramel drizzle is all I need.

I hope you enjoyed this little day in the life style blog post and I hope to do more in the future.

Thank you very much for reading,

Luke.
